The recently appointed chief of Akyem Dwenase in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Region is Nana Akua Sarpomaa I.
On February 16, 2023, early in the morning, at Akyem Dwenase in the fanteakwa south district of the eastern region, a ceremony was held to enthrone the youngest queen in the traditional territory.Akua Sarpomaa Nana I promised her constituents that she would work with the community's traditional leaders to solve any additional problems the group may encounter.
She urged the Dwenase community to be together, kind, and equitablShe continued by thanking the chief, the other subchiefs, her family, and all the inhabitants and people for making today so special for her.The public referred to Nana Akua Sarpomaa I as Ms. Lois Sego Blankson before her enstoolment. She is an entrepreneur and a cosmetologist.
After being enstooled, Nana Akua Sarpomaa I gave the populace the assurance that she would be available whenever the people needed her. She committed to preventing teenage pregnancies and providing vocational training for local women to lower the unemployment rate.
