In order to maintain the Division One League's (Zone 1B) sports integrity, the Ghana Football Association, the country's regulatory body of football, declared on Friday that Unity FC has been expelled.
The GFA Disciplinary Committee, which had accused the club of skipping seven Division One League games, came to this conclusion.
All opposition teams set to play Unity FC will receive three (3) points and three (3) goals as a result of this choice.
Additionally, Unity FC must pay the GFA a fine of ten thousand Ghana cedis (GHc10,000.00), which was issued by the GFA.
This choice has been communicated to Unity FC, which implies that the team will not be permitted to take part in any GFA competitions that are officially sanctioned.
