Distinguished Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng
Once upon a time, the Honorable Kennedy Agyapong announced to the world that President Akufo-Addo is a large tree with decaying roots in the fight against galamsey. He stated that all of Nana Addo's roots are decaying to the core. Professor Frimpong-Boateng's report on galamsey confirmed Ken Agyapong's statement, didn't it?
In the report Prof. Frimpong-Boateng submitted to Jubilee House two years ago, he stated emphatically that senior staff at Jubilee House are heavily involved in galamsey. He listed the names *Seth Mantey, Horace Ekow Ewusi, Mr. S. K. Boafo, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Gabby Otchere Darko, Frank Asiedu Bekoe (Protozoa), Charles Nii Tagoe, Captain Koda, Laud Commey, Yaw Osafo-Marfo, Donald Entsuah, and George Kwame Aboagye, among others.
Do you now understand why, two years after Prof. Frimpong-Boateng submitted the report via the Chief of Staff, Nana Addo feigned he hadn't seen it? Do you believe that Nana Addo is fighting against galamsey? Was Nana Addo sincere when he stated that he has risked his presidency to stop galamsey? Why has he not stepped down as president?
I've heard that Gabby Otchere Darko has filed a GHC10 million lawsuit against Professor Frimpong-Boateng. Justice Sophia Akuffo, the former chief justice, described Gabby Otchere Darko as a nuisance and a diversion. Hasn't Gabby's performance against galamsey confirmed the former chief justice's description of him? When his uncle, the President, is being exposed, Gabby believes he can always be an annoyance and a distraction.
Why, if Nana Addo is sincere about fighting and winning the war against galamsey, did he retain all of the galamsey kingpins at their posts when he forwarded the report to the police? Prof. Frimpong-Boateng's report reveals that the Jubilee House is a crime scene; therefore, why would Nana Addo permit these offenders to enter and exit the Jubilee House while they are under investigation? Clearly, President Nana Addo is the weakest in this republic.
You should now be persuaded that Nana Addo and the NPP cannot win the war against galamsey, my fellow Ghanaians. It will take a new president and his/her political party to repair the corruption in the anti-galamsey campaign and put all the criminals under investigation in prison.
Prof. Frimpong-Boateng is battling the entire Jubilee House corruption apparatus. Prof. Frimpong-Boateng cannot succeed, and the country as a whole suffers, until this criminal enterprise at Jubilee House is voted out and thoroughly investigated.
On Election Day, 7 December 2024, losing the campaign against galamsey due to this small group of criminals at Jubilee House should not be an option.
