Boakye Danquah described how his mother contributed to his upbringing by teaching him discipline.
The Forensic Psychologist, who was born and reared in Accra with ten other siblings, stated that he would not be where he is today if not for his mother.
"I hold mothers in high regard for the love they show their children because of what my mother did for me," he gushed.
Boakye Danquah, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the U.S. President Volunteer Service Awards (PVSA) last year for impacting lives and bringing about change in the diaspora, stated that his father was not always there for his children, despite the fact that he provided money for the upkeep of the home and taught him not to entertain fear in his life.
Therefore, he urged fathers to not only provide financial support for their families, but also be present for their children, as "the attention, care, education, and security that fathers provide for their children are what propels them into the future."
"The presence of a father has the greatest impact on a child's life," he stated again.
