As he intensifies his campaign, New Patriotic Party flagbearer candidate for 2024 Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has launched a venomous tribal attack against the northern region of the country.

In a meeting with delegates from the Western and Central regions, the Assin Central Member of Parliament took a tribal approach and delivered a stunning attack on the north for occupying critical positions.

“Chooboi! Listen to me carefully. Who do they suggest you should vote for? We are located in the Western Region, and the Vice President, Defense Minister, Interior Minister, Sports Minister, Tourism Minister, and Women's Ministry are all from the Northern region. Why? "Are they the sole voters in the nation?" Kennedy Agyapong was interrogated.

He urged his audience not to vote for anyone from the north, insisting that the NPP is not exclusive to northerners and that "We are humans, not animals."

"Because they are content, they want you to vote for someone. If they become communal, so shall we. The celebration is not just for them. Daily, they utilize the Central and Western regions and then abandon us. Isn't that nonsense? "We are human beings, not animals," said Kennedy Agyepong.

Mr. Agyapong has cast his hat into the ring for the NPP's election of its presidential candidate for 2024 on November 4.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former Trade and Industry Minister Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen are favorites to win.
