Ghanaian actor Alex Kofi Adu known widely as Agya Koo has disclosed that the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Agyapong’s love to see Ghana development is not in doubt.

According to him, it is only Mr Kennedy Agyapong who is also Member of Parliament for Assin Central can make Ghana a better place if given the mandate, urging delegates vote for him at the primaries.

He argued that his love Ghana was the reason he wept on live TV some time back over happenings wondering what other reasons to adduce to suggest he dsires to see the country develop.

“A person who could cry on live TV because of the love he has for his country. Look at somebody who has invested a huge amount of money into building factories so that the youth can get employment. Does such a person want the downfall of the country? He quizzed in an interview on Kumasi-based radio station monitored by MyewsGH.com.

Agya Koo revealed that what Mr Kennedy Agyapong wants is for the people of Ghana to have a better living standard so that he would be filled with joy.

“Currently, that is all what he is looking for. He wants to make sure that, every youth is given a befitting standard of living,” he said.

“Therefore, all what I’m pleading for is for the NPP delegates not to deny ourselves the best so that we will not regret our actions in future”, Agya Koo added.

Assuring delegates of his choice, Agya Koo indicated that people that he has supported have never disappointed him and Ghanaians saying he saw something in Nana Akufo-Addo and told Ghanaians to vote for him for the sake of Free SHS and indeed, when he became President of the Republic, he implemented the policy rightly.

So far, Former Agric Minister Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Mr John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen the Former Trade Minister, Mr Boakye Agyako Former Energy Minister, Hon Kenndey Agyapong, Mr Kwabena Agyapong Former General Secretary of the party, Former Attorney General and Minister for Justice Joe Ghartey, Mr Francis Addai Nimoh and Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku have all made their intentions to contest in the up-coming Presidential primaries.

It is likely that, the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will contest though he has not made officially declared his bid.
