The Director of Local Government Services in the Office of the President, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, asserts that Professor Frimpong-Boateng's report, which allegedly reveals government officials engaged in galamsey, is "bogus."According to Dennis Miracles, Professor Frimpong-Boateng's claims are motivated by resentment.Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, he questioned why Professor Frimpong-Boateng failed to present the report about his alleged saboteurs while he was serving as the Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) and instead waited until 2021, after he had resigned, to send the report to the Chief of Staff.According to him, Professor Frimpong-Boateng fabricated the allegations after concluding that he was incapable of performing his duties effectively."The fact that you submitted this report in 2021 indicates that you did not perform your duties well, because when I assign you work, you should bring the report to me immediately if you encounter any difficulties or frustrations, rather than waiting for me to request it," he said.In addition, he questioned the veracity of Professor Frimpong-Boateng's accusations against government and Jubilee House officials."Why are we not calling Professor Frimpong-Boateng and asking him to substantiate these allegations?"Dennis Miracles concluded vehemently, "Professor Frimpong-Boateng's article is false.

It lacks substance and appears to detract from the battle against galamsey.

We must combat it.

We must oppose the politicians.

We must combat against religious leaders.

We must oppose the established authorities.

We must combat the private individuals implicated," he asserted.
