Eunice, a 28-year-old woman, was hacked to death by her husband over the weekend for filing for divorce, according to tragic reports from Accra's Nungua neighborhood.
According to reports, Eunice and her husband, whose identity has been withheld, were married only a year ago in a minimalist wedding ceremony.
After the wedding, Eunice discovered that her spouse is both a serial cheater and a womanizer.
Prior to filing for divorce from her violent spouse, Enuice endured a series of physical and mental abuses.
Although her husband had vowed to change his bad character, he never did, and it was because of this that she decided to end the marriage.
During one of their many heated weekend arguments, her spouse butchered her with a cutlass.
Unfortunately, she was pronounced deceased at the hospital after being rushed there for treatment.
The husband who perpetrated the heinous crime is currently on the run.
