Bola Tinubu, the president-elect who would succeed President Buhari, might be disqualified from office if proven guilty by an electoral tribunal, claims Steve Otaloro of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Ondo State.

In an interview with Daily Independent, Otaloro praised the 2023 presidential election as one of the best ever held in Nigeria and recommended anyone disappointed with the results to hold off till the next one. He also lauded Kashim Shettima and Tinubu as capable national leaders.

Otaloro claimed that Tinubu had created a new growth strategy for Nigeria, but if he were to be convicted, he would be unable to enter office on May 29th and the APC might override a court's predetermined ruling.

He claims that several governors have been removed from office because the courts found their campaigns improper. He underlined that each branch of the federation's government has a share of power and cannot supersede another. Anyone can seek help from the courts if they are unhappy with an election in which they took part.

If convicted by an electoral tribunal, Bola Tinubu might lose his position as president-elect, according to Steve Otaloro of the APC in Ondo State. He also praised Tinubu and Kashim Shettima for being trustworthy leaders and stressed the significance of the three branches of the federation's government exercising equal authority.
