Symptoms of HIV in men.

Sat, 4 Mar 2023 Source: Alby News Ghana

The early signs of the human immune virus (HIV) infection seem to be nonspecific. Within days or weeks of exposure to the virus, a person may experience flu-like symptoms like a rash, and fatigue. Less commonly, mouth ulcers, nausea, and other symptoms may happen.

According to VeryWellHealth, symptoms of HIV in men may include:

1. Sores on the male organ: Syphilis develops in stages, the first of which include the appearance of a painless, ulcerative sore at the site of the exposure. The private organ of men, rectum, or mouth can be affected. The break in the skin allows the human immune virus to have easier access into the body to establish an infection.

2. Pain and burning with urination: This is a common symptom in men with gonorrhea and chlamydia.

3. Pain and swelling in the bollock: This is a possible indication of chlamydia and gonorrhea in which the tube that stores and transports male gamete from the bollock gets inflamed.

4. Pain when releasing semen: This is a symptom of gonorrhea, chlamydia, or trichomoniasis in men.
