The best friend of Maa Adwoa who called for Inspector Ahmed to shoot and kill her was purportedly detained.

Maa Adwoa's best friend, who summoned her to meet Inspector Ahmed at Dufie Towers' forecourt (Adum-Kumasi), has been arrested, according to a new trending report.

This new information suggests that Eunice Owsus Boakye, also known as Okese, has been apprehended for her alleged involvement in the death of Maa Adwoa.

Recall that after the news broke that Inspector Ahmed shot and killed Maa Adwoa, it was revealed that one of her closest friends persuaded her to meet Inspector Ahmed, despite the fact that she was initially unwilling to speak with the ex-security personnel.

Okese is assisting the police in their investigations, and if he is found guilty of playing a role in Maa Adwoa's murder, he could face incarceration.

Inspector Ahmed Twumasi made his first court appearance yesterday morning after being apprehended from his refuge on Sunday.He claimed that even though he shot Maa Adwoa six times, it was not his intention to murder her. He also claimed that he had GHc5,000.

On May 30 he is scheduled to reappear in court.
