Trainer of Talented Kidz explains how a girl with hearing loss danced her way to victory.

Abigail Adjiri, the hearing-impaired champion of Talented Kidz Season 14, dazzled many Ghanaians with her amazing dance talents.

At the conclusion of the tournament, Abigail was declared the victor after dancing her way through 13 weeks of grueling competition.

Her trainer, who works with children with disabilities, explained how he helped her get ready for the competition.

The audience and fans of the reality show were astounded by Abigail Adjiri, the hearing-impaired winner of TV3's Talented Kidz Season 14 when they learned of her condition.

Despite her inability to hear, the energetic dance maneuvers performed by the 7-year-old dancer each week were in perfect time with the music.

Many people have questioned how a hearing-impaired youngster could listen to music and execute her dance steps so flawlessly after her astounding performance and historic triumph on Talented Kidz.

Gilbert Owusu, her trainer, explained how they overcame her impediment as she got ready to compete in an interview with TV3.

Owusu, who performs under the alias Vokers, said that Abigail has always loved to dance. He claimed that despite her disability, she loved to dance and listen to music. In order to assist her get ready for the highly competitive talent show, her father got in touch with him.

"Due to Abaigail's circumstance, they contacted me and asked me to come over and coach her. I was able to work with people that had difficulties, including hearing loss.

In order to match the vibrations she felt beneath her feet, he advised Abigail to learn how to calculate her steps.

It all comes down to calculation. Every action we take involves calculation, especially the steps. Before you move, you must calculate the dance. You cannot simply dance. The ground vibrates from the beat.
