1505 students matriculated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). These graduates were among the over 11,000 students who recently graduated from UG at the Great Hall's College of Humanities congregation ceremony. The ceremony was one of thirteen sessions of congregational activities conducted over the course of five days.

Mrs. Mary Chinery-Hesse, UG's chancellor, conveyed her genuine delight at the significance of the commencement ceremonies occurring in the university's 75th anniversary year. Additionally, the Chancellor urged businesses to collaborate with the university and support its three major initiatives: one laptop per student, classroom modernization, and hot spot comfort zones.

In brief remarks, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs Professor Gordon A. Awandare congratulated the graduates on concluding their studies. He added that over 500 students have been awarded scholarships for the 2022–2023 academic year. In addition, he stated that UG is rated first in Ghana's econometric university rankings for 2022.

In his address, the Guest Speaker, Dr. Maxwell Opoku Afari, the First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, stated that the purpose of the event was to ensure that the graduates enter the workforce and implement their acquired knowledge. As they entered the next phase of their lives, he advised them to uphold exemplary work ethics, moral principles, and perseverance. He also urged them to be driven by their visions, to continuously learn, to be patient and humble, to value networking, and to serve others continuously.

Mr. Jacklord Agyabeng Amponsah, a student in accounting who graduated first in his class with a final grade point average of 3.93, delivered the valedictory address at the College of Humanities BSc Administration congregation ceremony.

Professor Justice Nyimah Bawole, Dean of UGBS, presented the graduates to the Chancellor for the confirmation of academic awards.

Parents, guardians, and families of the graduates, as well as convocation members, were present at the ceremony.
