Award-winning gospel musician Celestine Donkor has discussed the compromises her husband had to make when they were still dating in order to win her favor.

Before getting married, Celestine confesses in the book Beyond the Rhythm that she fantasized of having a husband with hair on his chest. The book was co-written by Celestine and her husband Kofi Donkor.

Unfortunately for her, the husband she married—who is also her manager—is not endowed with that quality.

She asserted that her husband was forced to use hair growth creams on his chest as a result, but they were ineffective.

However, she added that whenever she gives it some thought, it interests her because she has found that her spouse has more noteworthy qualities than just chest hair.

It's a major concern for most people to find particular attributes in their ideal spouses, which is where gospel vocalist Celestine Donkor was before she got married.

Celestine reveals in Beyond the Rhythm, a book she co-wrote with her husband Kofi Donkor, that prior to getting married, she had always fantasized of having a husband with hair on his chest.

Unfortunately for her, the husband she married—who also happens to be her manager—does not possess that quality.

She claimed that as a result, she encouraged her husband to start applying hair-growth lotions to his chest, but it was fruitless.

However, she added that whenever she gives it some thought, it interests her because she has found that her spouse has more noteworthy qualities than just chest hair.

"I confessed to him that I was looking for a travel companion. a person with chest hair. Laughs! I desired my dream partner. But what's this? Because he has no hair, my partner has turned to using a hair growth lotion consistently to fill out his chest.

Even now, when I recall it, I laugh. But more than anything, I was so fired up for God and had grown so much in Him that meeting someone like my husband who was so concerned about my spiritual well-being and development meant the world to me. The main draw for me was that," she wrote.

The story of how Celestine linked with Kofi, who was at the time in Korea, is also told in the book Beyond the Rhythm. Even before they first met, they began dating and decided to get married.

Currently, Celestine Donkor is managed by Kofi Donkor. They are fortunate to have three kids.
