Dr Bawumia's candidature for the flagbearership of the NPP has become my personal business as a result of the unguarded remarks of nasty persons in the Alan camp and other members of the committee of vultures that have nestled in the undergroves of civility to churn out filthy lies. These vultures have nestled in the undergroves of civility in order to spread disgusting lies.
I never in my wildest dreams anticipated that people who, up until very recently, held my respect would so swiftly and easily descend into the cesspool of garbage that they have made their final home in.
To constantly hear the torrent of insults on a simple man who has been a magnificent example of intellectual fortitude to follow as Dr. Mahmoudu Bawumia is surprising and completely paralysing to my mind. I take great objection to the untrue charges that his candidature is being supported by an Islamist group in Nigeria. I find this to be an affront to my religious beliefs. This statement, in and of itself, is already quite offensive.
Before I dig any further into the topic, let me say that the alleged eight individuals who have banded together to work against Dr. Bawumia are in no way significant in any way at all. Some of them do not carry any weight with the delegates at all, and those that have some measure of favour with delegates are losing quite a number of them as a result of the ugly techniques that they are employing and the division that their campaigns are riddled with.
Personal note: I will never identify myself with any of those eight fools for the simple reason that if they have let reason fly out of their brainless skulls, then they do not deserve any dignity or respect and do not deserve my association with them in any way, shape, or form.
The right person for the job is Dr. Mahmoudu Bawumia! The one and only male! The NPP's well-groomed and politically-trained genius, who is deserving of the honours anyone may desire to attach to a candidate in the NPP's flagbearer elections because of his or her contributions to the success of the NPP.
Those other people who have amassed millions or billions of dollars as a result of their involvement in politics should probably simply keep their mouths shut and hang their heads in shame for being the cowards that they are. Like it often said, they are all talk….just silly talk!
Initially, before the concept of speaking with the Nigerian charlatan in order to hook him into their circle of cannibalism, the gangsters against Dr. Bawumia had concocted a story that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia had designated two billion United States Dollars to ensure that Ghana got a Muslim President. This was done before the notion of communicating with the Nigerian charlatan in order to rope him into their circle of cannibalism.
That is not going to happen, especially considering that Saudi Arabia is currently working on the grandiose Line City project, which is estimated to cost a staggering "five hundred billion US Dollars," a figure that is likely going to double in the near future.
Therefore, when the fools understood that they had shot themselves in the foot, they shifted the narrative by enlisting the services of the morally bankrupt cannibal from Nigeria to fling filth at Dr. Bawumia with outrageous charges and vicious insinuations. This was done in an attempt to discredit Dr. Bawumia's character.
The scoundrels' innate hostility has been voiced very clearly and very forcefully. The degree of animosity that they display towards Islam and people who practise it as a religion astounds me. When did the level of decency that Ghanaians are willing to tolerate drop to the point that it can be used to start trouble, stir up discord, and sow seeds of discord inside the nation?
I have a strong feeling that the vast mass of people do not support the overt extremism that is emanating from the camps of the "idiot 8"! It is uncomfortable to even contemplate the possibility that such dastardly acts would be taken into consideration by the delegates, given the animosity that has been expressed towards Muslims on account of the fact that Dr. Bawumia is one.
Dr. Bawumia's ability to remain focused and determined increases in proportion to the volume of the haters' lies. Their nefarious schemes serve as fuel that drives him to greater heights, as measured by his approval ratings.
Qur'an Chapter 3 Verse 54 states: "Wa makaru wa makarallah, Wallahu khairul makirin"…. "And they (enemies) planned, and Allah planned, and Allah is the best of planners," the verse reads. "And Allah is the best of planners."
The emotional campaign that is being coordinated and conducted by Dr. Bawumia is appealing to the majority of the delegates because of how decent it is.
They see in him a rescue for our New Patriotic Party (NPP), as well as a magnificent successor for His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who is an icon in religious tolerance and irenicism! In the end, Dr. Bawumia is not bigoted, he is not racist, and he is not intolerant. After everything that they have said to him and done to him, it would not surprise me if he decided to embrace them. I have no doubt that he will, but when he does, I will have something else to discuss with him!
It was recommended that I refrain from responding; yet, I am unable to stomach this level of venom directed towards Dr. Bawumia and, by implication, Islam. Thankfully, the majority of Ghanaians do not share their extreme beliefs in this hogwash.
