Biography Of De Parrot Speaks, A Ghanaian Poet Impacting lives With Her Works

Freda Abyhna Asantewaa Twumasi (born 1996), better known as De Parrot Speaks, is a Ghanaian Poet, Educationist, Model, Publicist, and a Talk-Show Host.

Her name was given to her because of how she speaks and articulate words like the parrrot. Her spoken words surrounds around Life, Religion, Culture, Black Liberation, Social Oppression, Discrimination, Poverty, Sexism, and Psychology.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

De Parrot Speaks was born and raised in Konono Afrancho Adansi Akrokerri in the Ashanti Region of Ghana in a household with her mother (Mrs. Janet Afoakwa), father (Late Nana Obeng ko -Asare) and 4 siblings with her being the last born.

De Parrot Speaks attended her basic junior high school at Rescue Educational Complex, Asare Bediako Senior High and University of Cape Coast where she studied Education respectively.

She loves reading, writing and was part of her school days Drama, Cultural Dance and Debating clubs where she won several competitions to her credit.

De Parrot Speaks type of poems are audio narratives that showcases unique stories and aesthetics of our present-day living via a combination of verbal lyricism and narration as well as strong vocal displays of sensitive focus in Psychology, Education, Relationship, Region, Life, Black Liberation, just to mention a few.

She has been writing several articles for blogs with most especially youngprs.com which won her a citation from Stars Awards in 2022.

De Parrot Speaks has singles of inspiring spoken words to her credit, her touching daily motivational quotes and set to release her debut studio 'Gifted' EP which is the first of it kind in August 13, 2022.
