Mp for Bongo, Hon Edward Bawa donates ghc6k to Daliga Girls Model School; pledges to support them more

The honorable member of parliament for Bongo, Honourable Edward Bawa was present to grace the commissioning of the Girls model school in Daliga, a community in the Bongo district of the upper east region.

Leaders of the said community and the Bongo District Education Directorate locked heads together in putting up a building to serve as a temporal structure for the schooling activities of the Daliga model school awaiting the construction of a permanent structure.

The commissioning was done earlier today and the MP whilst giving his speech offered to give the community Ghc5,000 from his common fund to serve as the seed money for the construction of the school block.

He also made known that his office has giving full scholarship to 16 students who are doing various engineering and health courses.

He added that over 50 students have been given half scholarship this year.

He also gave Ghc1,000 instantly at the event grounds as his donation to the construction of the school block.

He pledged in many ways to support wholeheartedly until the school block is completed.
