NDC vice chairman pays courtesy call on former executives and founding members in the Northern Region

The National Vice Chairman of National Democratic Congress, Lawyer Halid Abdul - Rauf, over the weekend paid a courtesy call on former party Executives and founding members of the party in the Region. The visit was to assure them of the party's readiness to tap into their experiences to enable the NDC win the 2024 General elections.

The Vice Chairman on behalf of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the National chairman, Asiedu Nketia said their priceless contribution towards the formative years of the party was still fresh in their minds and can't be forgotten.

Among the party Stalwarts visited by the team were Alhaji Abindogo a Founding member of the party, Hajia Maata (Former Deputy Regional women organiser) , Hajia Dela (Former women organiser of the Tamale North Constituency) , Alhaji Abuzab (Founding Member ), Chairman Zak (Former Constituency Chairman for the Tamale North) , Alhaji Nashiru (Former Deputy Regional Organiser) , Mba Gamazi - Naa Mutookilu( Founding member). Alhaji Imoro Jantuwa (Former Constituency Executive of Tamale Central Constituency) and his wife Hajia Nafisa (former women organiser for Tamale Central) , Alhaji karakara (Tamale North), Alhaji Alhassa Shirazu (Former Regional Executive Committee member) and Hajia Samata Bikun. The team intends to pay a courtesy call on Alhaji Libron (Former Regional youth organiser) , Alhaji Haruna Cambodia (Former MP for the Chogu /Tishugu Constituency) .

The party Stalwarts who could not hide their joy, expressed their happiness for the visits and assured the National Vice Chairman of their continuous support and prayer for the party to win the upcoming general election.

The National vice chairman thanked the Regional Executives and the entire team for their support and pledge to carry such visits to the other four northern regions and urged the party's Regional , Constituency , branch Executives across the regions to make the visits of former party stalwarts a project .
