UW\R: Teacher Mohammed faces persecution for kicking against a directive to prevent breastfeeding teachers from taking their children to school

Mr. Mohammed Abdulai, a teacher of the Nandom municipal in the upper west region is facing persecution from the municipal Director of education Madam Paschaline for kicking against a directive from her urging all lactating mothers to seize going into the classroom with their babies.




Mr. Mohammed in several write up argue that, instead of the GES Director providing crèches in the schools these female teachers work to make their work easier, she is rather threatening to take disciplinary actions against them if they continued to take their babies to school or the classroom.

Unfortunately, this didn't sit well with the Director as information picked from Kusiele Ziem revealed he was invited last month (February) to appear before a disciplinary committee in the municipality.

The source revealed, there is a grand scheme to punish Mr. Mohammed by transferring him far away from Nandom where he currently works. Madam Paschaline feel Mohammed write ups against her administrative decision are making her works difficult hence should be punished.
