The Bolgatanga High Court has dismissed an injunction application filed by Mr Alfred Asante which sought to block the SRC president of CK Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Mr Awanah Atamakira Michael from discharging his duties as the SRC president.

The Plaintiff-Mr Alfred filed the injunction application on the 21st of April 2022, following the swearing in of Mr Awanah Michael, despite the school's efforts geared towards resolving the issue amicably.

Mr Alfred had sought to stop the Mr Awanah led administration from functioning until the case he filed to challenge the credibility of the elections is determined by the Bolga High court.

Meanwhile, the Awanah led administration has already started workings around the clock to implement it's policies.

According to Mr Awanah, he welcomes the decision of the High Court to throw out the injunction application.

He however declined to comment on the merits and demerits of the injunction.

"The court case has never been an obstacle to me, ever since I was sworn in as the SRC president on the 21st of April 2022, I have been working hard to better the lots of my fellow students. The welfare of the students is my priority and nothing more”.
