Waking up and see yourself going through the day to see the following one is a serious mission in South Africa, people's lives are at the mercy of those who own guns and are trigger-happy since they just shoot and kill people as if they are doing it for fun, it is happening day in and day out where we get reports of someone who was shot and killed and the motive remains unknown, all thanks to the government which is failing to make the country a gun-free country, people easily get access to guns and they end up killing innocent people and mostly this happens during robberies or some criminal ways just like the 15-year-old Kariega who was reportedly shot and killed while she was at her own home.
Reports emerging suggest that a 15-year-old girl by the name of Kariega Goliath was gunned down when she was actually at her home, it is reported that unknown gunmen started shooting randomly at her home through the sliding door, and she was caught with a bullet and she died, her mother was also wounded during the shooting, luckily she survived while her daughter died the painful death, the motive of the killing remains a mystery.
"Keisha Goliath, a 15-year-old girl from Kariega, Eastern Cape was shot dead on Thursday, 10 November. Keisha was at home when shots were fired through the sliding door. Her mother was also shot but survived. The motive for the shooting is unknown and no one has been arrested yet," reports suggest.
People have killed every day and the weapons which are used are unlicensed the government does not seem to have any other plans to make sure that the guns are removed from all people and save people's lives.
