A Ghanaian Man Stated He Discovered His Ex-wife Was Eight Months Pregnant Seven Months After Their Divorce.
Isaac had a girlfriend in Ghana who had been very beneficial to him, and he resolved to never disappoint her.
By the time he left Ghana for Italy via Libya, they had one child, and he constantly sent money home for the child's support.
He returned to Ghana and married his longstanding girlfriend, only to discover upon his return to Italy that she was pregnant and he was not the father.
Isaac Kwame Oppong, a Ghanaian residing in Italy, recounted how he discovered his ex-wife was unfaithful even before they were married.
Isaac departed Ghana for Italy via Libya. Before reaching in Italy and obtaining his citizenship documents, he endured difficult times, as he recounted.
Isaac had a child with a woman he intended to marry before leaving Ghana. According to him, the woman was initially kind to him, but she later let him down.
"My ex-wife took out a loan for the funds I used to begin working in Ghana. Due to all that we had been through together, I swore to never wrong her. When I moved to Italy, I began sending her monthly remittances as well as items such as clothing, a television, and a laptop for her to sell. I spent over two thousand euros on the items, but she only made three thousand Ghana cedis from them. I was so disheartened."
Isaac reported that the woman persisted in pressuring him to marry her. Therefore, he supplemented the money she had from the sale, and they used it for the wedding. After approximately five years in Italy, Isaac returned to marry the mother of her child.
"After seven months of marriage, a woman was eight months expectant. It signified that she was pregnant prior to our marriage. A acquaintance informed me that my wife was pregnant, so I inquired with family members first. When they discovered the truth, I deserted her."
Isaac stated that, with the exception of his marriage, his voyage in Italy had not been straightforward. He said he has done several occupations just to make ends meet.
