A Plus Goes Hard On Hajia4Real Following Her Arrest Over Alledged Romance Scam Issue

Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus) Kwame Asare Obeng, a musician, satirist, and social commentator, has criticized Hajia4Reall following reports that she has been extradited to the United States for an alleged romance fraud.

Mona Faiz Montrage, also known as Hajia4Reall or Mona4Reall, purportedly defrauded over $2 million from older, single American men and women in a convoluted lonely-hearts scam, and on May 15, 2023, there were widespread reports of her extradition.

Since then, numerous Ghanaians have voiced their opinions on the matter, with some digging up her old interviews in which she discussed her wealth and lavish lifestyle, as well as urging young women to be diligent in order to make money, enjoy life, and avoid being accused of relying on men for financial support.

"Do not fail to pray. Whatever you do, place prayer first and work diligently. "Ladies, work hard, be determined and focused so that no one will accuse you of spending a man's money, and so that no man can sit on your happiness," she is heard saying in one of the videos circulating online.

Sharing the same video excerpt on social media, A Plus stated categorically that young women have been duped for an extended period of time.

He wrote in the Twi language, "Young females are not saa. Mo triso!" To wit: "You have always deceived young women. Nonsense”.

The remainder of A Plus's post, which was predominantly written in English, urged readers to live within their means and not be persuaded by anyone.

"My dear ladies, never gaze down upon yourselves. Do not abide by the standards of individuals who do not know where they sleep. Don't let anyone give you duress. You may not be wealthy, but can't you see that the police are not searching for you right now as you slumber peacefully in your bed?... You are fortunate. Thank God, and keep on carrying on. As he concluded his submission on Hajia4Reall, A Plus said, "Better days will find you."

According to the New York Post, Mona4Reall appeared in Manhattan Federal Court for her alleged involvement in a series of schemes that targeted vulnerable, solitary individuals.

According to judicial documents, she was associated with a group of West African con artists from at least 2013 to 2019. The con artists deceived their victims into transferring money to them under false pretenses, such as helping to transport gold from overseas to the United States, resolving phony FBI investigations, and assisting fictitious US Army officers in Afghanistan.

Court documents alleged that Mona4Reall deceived a victim into sending her $89,000 via 82 wire transfers under the pretense of assisting her father's farm in Ghana.

The New York Post also reported that the socialite pleaded not guilty to the allegations and will be released in the coming days on a $500,000 bond with GPS ankle monitoring.
