Two armed robbery suspects have been apprehended for their roles in the heist of a bullion vehicle in Fanmilk, a suburb of Ablekuma in the Greater Accra Region.
During the robbery, a police officer was killed, which left many in disbelief.
When the bullion van stopped at a gas station, ostensibly to purchase fuel, the attack occurred. During this time, the vehicle was assaulted by the attackers.
The van's driver was able to escape unharmed.
