Arnold Asamoah Baidoo and gospel musician Brother Sammy nearly took United Showbiz to the boxing ring after Brother Sammy felt insulted by a comment Arnold made about him in reference to the musician's public invitation to his album launch concert.
Prior to Brother Sammy's album release, a video of a woman shaking her buttocks appeared, followed by Brother Sammy's appearance a few seconds later to announce his concert and invite attendees.
Arnold, however, viewed this conduct as sacrilegious to Christianity and an affront to the holiness of God, describing it as "folly."
"As I sit here, I beseech God for forbearance because the foolishness is becoming intolerable. The point is that what we witnessed in the Lord's House is very disgraceful, very disturbing, and very distressing. These are some of the foolish practices in the Jerusalem temple that Jesus punished with a lash because, in the eyes of the Lord, they are an eyesore.
"Had he been remorseful or apologetic when you called him, we would have said it's alright, he did it but now realizes he went too far. "Yet here he is, justifying it and mocking those who have a problem with it," he snarled.
In response to Arnold's remark, Brother Sammy disclosed on UTV's "United Showbiz" on Saturday, May 7 that Arnold's words caused his wife to weep uncontrollably.
He expressed his extreme dissatisfaction with Arnold and requested an apology from him.
Arnold, however, stood his ground and refused to apologize to Brother Sammy, asking, "Where did I insult him?"
