Daddy Lumba, an award-winning Highlife legend, has launched his radio station, DL FM 106.9, to begin broadcasting in Accra.
The renowned musician announced his radio platform in September of 2022 and has been hard at work to provide listeners with the finest possible experiences.
Anidaso wo ho ma obia, yekurakura mu, DL Hour, Drive time, and Awoso are among the programs envisioned to entertain admirers and listeners.
"Anidaso wo ho ma obia," which translates to "there is hope for everyone," would be a session to inspire listeners in which legal minds would discuss social issues.
Nana Adjoa Silky, a renowned radio host, would lead listeners on a three-hour musical journey, playing songs by Daddy Lumba and other highlife legends Ghana has produced over the years.
The Drive Time is also expected to provide listeners with authentic Ghanaian songs that made headlines in the previous month, as well as allowing fans to suggest their favorite songs to be played.
According to the highlife legend, the radio station was here to stay, and it would acquire an increasing number of programs over time.
Prioritizing the requirements of its listeners, the radio station pledges to be highly innovative, proactive, and success-driven.
