Davido, a Nigerian musician, has made it clear that he has no problem with being the last child in his family.
Davido also asserted that his family did not consider him seriously when he first started out in music.
A recent interview with Jazzy's World TV revealed this information.
He asserted that one of the reasons he was not treated seriously was because he was the last child in his family.
The DMW leader asserted that he was recognized and accepted only after his music became widely known.
However, he enjoys being the youngest child because his siblings are always there to support him when he gets in difficulty.
Davido said:
I was the last child of my family when I decided to pursue music. I'm like, hey I want to do music. One day, I will be a celebrity.
Imagine attempting to persuade everyone in your family when you are the youngest sibling. No one took me seriously. You sense me?
As I grew older, however, they began to notice that I was quite competent in this role. Eventually, they granted me permission to do what I desired. However, I enjoy being the youngest child. If I were to face a challenge, my elder siblings would have my back without question.
