Andre, the captain of the Black Stars, and Jordan, his younger brother, made history at this year's All-Star Festival when they both scored in the All-Star team's 2-0 victory over B&A Stars, a squad comprised of players from the Bono, Bono-East, and Ahafo regions.
The goals scored by the Ayew siblings for the All-Star team end the 67-year drought for the Black Stars in the Brong Ahafo regions.
Andre Ayew began the scoring for the All-Stars by placing the ball past the experienced Aduana Stars goalkeeper and B&A Stars captain Joseph Addo.
After scoring in last year's Accra Edition, the former Nottingham Forest attacker became the first Black Stars captain to score in front of adoring spectators or football enthusiasts from the Bono, Bono-East, and Ahafo regions.
A few minutes later, his younger sibling Jordan Ayew converted an outstanding penalty kick to complete the All-Stars' perfect script.
Following The Business Africa Consulting (The BAC) Group's All-Star Festival, the former Al Sadd SC playmaker and his younger sibling Jordan heaped praise on the festival's organizers and the people of the Bono, Bono-East, and Ahafo regions for their love.
It felt great to be a part of this year's event. Last year's was enormous, but this year's was even larger.
I cannot wait until 2024.
I appreciate the affection that the people of the three regions have shown us. "I thoroughly enjoyed performing for them," said Andre Ayew.
This is a fantastic football tournament organized by The BAC Group, and I encourage Cooperate Ghana to join because the next edition will be combustible," he added.
The Ayew brothers are the first pair of brothers in All-Star Festival history to score.
Jordan Ayew, a striker for Crystal Palace, expressed his joy following the game.
Jordan stated, "It was nice seeing everyone here."

The All-Stars game is the culmination of a special off-season event that drew together foreign and local male and female football stars in a ceremonial yet competitive football match.
