Despite withdrawing from the contest, Dr. Kwabena Duffour received some votes in the National Democratic Congress presidential primary.
For instance, according to the preliminary results for the Wa Central Constituency, Dr. Duffour received 10, Kojo Bonsu received 49, and John Dramani Mahama received 1,711 votes.
Mr. Mahama received 637 votes in the Daboya Mankarigu constituency, Kojo Bonsu 23, and Kwabena Duffour 18.
