Another fire has broken out at Madina-Ritz Junction in the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality.
The fire, which began around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, has destroyed a number of local businesses.
ADO2 Alex King Nartey, a Public Relations Officer for the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), told us that the cause of the fire is unknown.
"The location is very close to the Madina Fire Station, so our men arrived within a minute. Currently, we have five appliances here, including one from the national headquarters, one from Abelemkpe, one from Legon, one from Adenta, and one from Madina," he said.
This is the second time this year that Madina-Ritz junction has recorded a fire outbreak. In January 2023, a fire devastated over 30 makeshift containers and homes.
