Freddie Blay, the chairman of the board of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, GNPC, has adamantly maintained that he did nothing improper in the Petro SA transaction.
29 CSOs have accused Mr. Blay of attempting to sell some of Ghana's oil interests to Petro SA in South Africa and have called on President Akufo-Addo to force him out of office.
However, Mr. Blay has disputed the allegations.
He was responding to the cries at the opening of a GNPC-built classroom building for Krobo Girls SHS.
