Gabby Okyere Darko, COP Kofi Boakye, Among Others Sworn In As Notaries Public

COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, a retired police superintendent, has been sworn in as a notary public of the Supreme Court of Ghana.

Until his retirement on April 5, 2023, COP Kofi Boakye was the Director-General in charge of the Ghana Police Service's legal and prosecution affairs.

He was swore in as a notary public alongside approximately ninety other influential attorneys in private practice with at least ten years of experience and integrity.

The State authorizes a notary public to administer oaths, certify documents, attest to the authenticity of signatures, and perform official acts in commercial matters, such as safeguarding negotiable instruments.

The prevalent COP While in office, Kofi Boakye was known for his staunch opposition to corruption and criminality in Ghana. He made a number of arrests of controversial public figures, including musicians and legislators.

The Judicial devotion of Ghana lauded him upon his retirement for his devoted and influential devotion to the service as a member of the Judicial Council.

Chief Justice Anim Yeboah also swore in as notaries public Gabby Asare Otchere Darko of the New Patriotic Party and Prof. Kenneth Attefuah of the National Identification Authority, among others.
