King Faisal bankroller Alhaji Karim Grusah survives fatal accident on Kumasi-Tamale road
Alhaji Abdul Karim Grusah, the financier of Ghana Premier League club King Faisal survived a catastrophic accident on the Kumasi-Tamale highway.
The mishap occurred on Saturday, as he was returning to Kumasi after his team's 30th week of Ghana Premier League play against Tamale City.
The mishap reportedly occurred a few minutes outside of Kintampo when Grusah's SUV collided with a parked vehicle alongside the road.
The member of the Black Stars management committee was in the vehicle with the club's operations manager, Nana Amankwah and his driver who also escaped unharmed.
Grusah, speaking after the incident, thanked Allah for sparing their lives. The team's 4-0 loss prevented him from staying over after the game, as he was also scheduled to attend a funeral.
After the tragedy, the three individuals were treated and discharged from Techiman Hospital. They are presently at home and will return to the hospital tomorrow for additional examinations.
