Ghanaians consume three meals per day despite economic hardship - Allotey Jacobs
Bernard Allotey Jacobs, former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has stated that despite the economic crisis, Ghana is the best-performing Anglophone nation.
According to him, the "miracle" of Ghana's difficult economic conditions is that workers are paid enough to meet their basic requirements.
.
"I concur with the EIU report that the economy is not in the greatest shape.
In comparison to Nigeria and other Anglophone nations, it is a miracle that our employees are always paid on time in our worst economy.
"The miracle of today's economy is that everyone eats three times a day."
No one in this country will claim that they do not eat."
Mr. Jacobs stated on Accra's Peace FM that "in times of difficulty, we need a very thoughtful leadership that can help cushion prices, which is why I support the God for Oil policy."
