An unidentified individual believed to be in his early 30s was allegedly murdered and hang in an unfinished building in Gomoa Nyanyano, Central Region, on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
The unidentified deceased is believed to have been murdered elsewhere and hanged in the area.
An examination of the corpse revealed that he had sand on his head and bite marks on his shoulder and other parts of his body.
The deceased was believed to have been involved in a fight prior to his demise.
The police have transported the deceased's body to the Winneba Specialist and Trauma Hospital Mortuary for an autopsy and preservation.
In an interview with Kasapa News' Yaw Boagyan, Assembly Member for the Gomoa Nyanyano Electoral Area Joshua Mbreye lamented the recent spate of killings that have tarnished the community's reputation.
According to the member of the Assembly, those discovered dead were all murdered elsewhere and their bodies dumped in the Community.
He urged the Police to investigate the incident exhaustively and to arrest the suspect.
