A young Ghanaian woman has dragged her spouse to SOMPA FM for paying her bride price with toilet paper.
According to the woman, her husband placed toilet paper rolls in envelopes and gave them to her family as her bride price and payment for his 'akonta sekan'.

During the live radio discussion, the newlywed revealed that his younger sibling was initially accused of exchanging the money in the envelopes for toilet paper.
However, after she confronted her husband, he admitted that he cleverly camouflaged the toilet paper in the envelopes as cash because he was extremely poor and didn't want to visit her family empty-handed.
As a result of the revelation, the lady's family is demanding the dissolution of her new marriage.
