I Have Political Experience Capable Of "Breaking The 8" - Alan Kyerematen

Sun, 30 Apr 2023 Source: realnewz.com

Kyerematen stated that the NPP only required an experienced and mature leader to "break the eight" and that he was that person for the 2024 election NPP 2020 Manifesto launch.

Alan Kyerematen, minister of trade-designate Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), asserts that he has the political experience to win the party's presidential election in 2024 and urges the delegates to support him.

He stated that all the NPP required to "break the eight" was an experienced and mature leader, and that he was that individual for the 2024 election.

Kyerematen stated this on Saturday in Accra during a health trek titled "Aduro Wo So."

Hundreds of party members and supporters adorned in NPP t-shirts and other paraphernalia attended the event.

Some party members carried signs reading "Father For All", "Ghana's Hope", "Jobs For The People, Cash For The People", "Industrial Titan", "Mr Job 4 Youth", and "The True Unifier" during the health walk.

During the trek, a group of former Adisadel College students known as "Santacluasians for Alan" endorsed Kyerematen's candidacy.

Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, Member of Parliament for the Tema West Constituency, stated that Kyerematen had been a long-serving NPP member and that, just as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was endorsed when the Party believed it was his turn, the same must be done for Kyerematen because "it is also his turn to lead the party."

His initiatives in the area of industrialisation had demonstrated Alan's competence over time, and he had contributed significantly to the development of the Party and previous governments, he said.

Alan's competence is not in question. Since President Kufuor's administration, when he played a significant position in the President's Special Initiative, he has accomplished so much..."

Alfred Mensah-Onumah, a 1997 alumnus of Adisadel College and coordinator of the "Santacluasians for Alan" group, described Kyerematen as an industrial savant who, if given the green light, would spark an industrial revolution in the nation.

Alan is an expert in industrialisation, particularly when it comes to adding value to our primary materials. He played a significant role in the AfCFTA and even assisted Ghana in becoming its headquarters. As a minister, he also effectively led the government's 1D1F program."

"We believe that his moment has come, and we therefore urge all delegates to vote for him as the nominee. "Once this is accomplished, they can rest assured they will win the general election," he said.
