Anita Ofili, who was arrested on March 26 for allegedly murdering her companion Glory Okon in her apartment in Greenville Estate, Ajah, Lagos, has explained why she committed the heinous crime.
Anita disclosed in an interview that she waited ten years to kill Glory because she could not tolerate what the deceased had done to her.
Anita revealed that she was the victim's close confidante for many years before betraying their friendship. She stated that she desired to marry the individual, but Glory stole him away due to her own selfishness.
"My plan was to marry him. Her actions strained our relationship, and we parted ways as a result. Glory and I were close friends for years, but she betrayed us by stealing my boyfriend. I waited a decade for my vengeance. We reconciled only two weeks ago. I invited her to my home, and you know the rest." She declared.
