Kuami Eugene has once more criticized his labelmate KiDi for allegedly not censoring his speech.
KiDi stated in a previous interview on Hitz FM that Kuami Eugene lacks appropriate communication skills.
KiDi made these remarks in response to the dispute between Kuami Eugene and Guru that dominated social media in 2021.
"As for Kuami, he is incapable of communicating. I won't fib to you. Occasionally, he speaks to me as well," stated KiDi.
On April 30, 2023, Kuami Eugene appeared on The Delay Show, where the issue was revisited.
Eugene, when asked how he felt after hearing KiDi's assertions that he doesn't speak well, responded,
"Yes, I heard it, and I told him to stop," the respondent affirms.
Delay then inquired whether he took a cue from KiDi's statements, to which Kuami Eugene responded that the 'Sugar Daddy's words were nonsensical.
"His words were meaningless, so there was nothing to glean from them. We reside in a country where people are free to express their opinions. I have strong opinions that I express in the fervor of the moment. I do not keep my concerns to myself and stew over them; rather, I voice them.
"KiDi is the type to conceal his emotions and worries. He will suffer in silence rather than express his distress. This is likely to result in melancholy, as he will retreat to his home and brood over the situation.
In the meantime, KiDi has issued a passionate appeal to journalists to refrain from asking him about Kuami Eugene during interviews.
In separate interviews with Abeiku Santana and Ohemaa Woyeje, the Afrobeats artist warned the media against pitting him against his labelmate.
"I would appreciate it if we could skip this question because whenever I attempt to speak lovingly about Kuami Eugene, people tend to twist my words into things that cause many problems between myself and Eugene, but I can assure you that nothing negative is happening between us. KiDi told Abeiku Santana on United Showbiz, "I don't want the media to ask me questions about him because we are all different people."
