Popular Nollywood actress, Monica Erero, has revealed in a new video how she and other fat ladies are being treated by people and producers in the movie industry.

She made it known that just because she is fat does not mean she should allow herself to be taken advantage of by the producers, saying that she does not play with her body.

She disclosed that when she came into the movie industry, some producers told her that because she is not fat, she would make it in the industry, but that she met some girls that were slim when she came that have not made it as well.

She maintained that the producers look down on fat ladies in the industry, which makes it hard for them to succeed. She stated that even though she has not made her first million yet and that she still stays in a small cubicle, she is doing well because she fought for herself.

She encouraged other fat girls to take good care of their bodies, saying that they should try to look neat and dress well at all times.

In the statement she made in the video, she said, "When I came into the industry, I have seen fat, upcoming girls that have been bullied and talked down on, but I keep saying love yourself and be confident." I don't play with my body, being fat does not mean the producers should take advantage of me. Your body is yours, and I told them so because I'm confident that's why I'm making it. I know some slim girls that I met in the industry that haven't made it yet, so if producers can't help those, is it me that is fat that they want to help? "I always tell other fat girls to look neat and dress well so that people will appreciate you wherever you go," she says.

Her latest post is aimed at advising chubby ladies to be confident and not allow anybody to take advantage of them in the movie industry, saying that they can also make it with self-confidence.
