I took a marriage oath with my boyfriend that has affected me negatively, I hardly sleep - Lady cries

Margret Wanjiru from Muranga painfully narrates how she took a marriage oath with her boyfriend that has ruined her life and she barely sleeps at night.

According to her she was born and raised in Muranga. She finished her primary education and relocated to Mombasa to love her sister. Her sister was married to a white man and she helped her in joining high school.

After high school, she started working in a bar as a waitress where she sold alcohol. She worked there for a few months and she met a young man who like her a lot. He was her regular customer and he always tipped her.

They dated for a while and she would visit his house now and then. She got pregnant soon after and her boyfriend refused to take responsibility for the pregnancy. She decided to terminate the baby and after a week she got back with him.

Their relationship deteriorated after she had an abortion because he used to call her a horrible name for terminating the pregnancy. One day he came home with his friends and he told her to make a marriage covenant with him.

At first, she didn't understand what was happening as her boyfriend performed rituals in her house and he forced her to take an oath and she vowed never to leave him to till do the part. They started to love together but her boyfriend became a drunkard and after two months she left and rented her house

After some time she met a German man and they fell in love. The two dated for a while until when he went back to his country. He visited her frequently and the two got married. Immediately after she got married she became pregnant and she gave birth to twins nine months later.

Margret said that things changed two years later when her ex-boyfriend told her that she had made a covenant with him and he would ruin her marriage. She started to get horrible dreams and she became mentally unstable. She hardly slept at night because she had visions and attacks by unknown spiritual beings.

"After my ex-boyfriend told me that I was tied to him till death I became mentally unstable I became mad." She said.

Her husband took her to different hospitals but she never got better. He divorced her and he took her children with him to Germany. Since then she has been challenged because she cannot sleep well and people think that she is mad. She believes that she is possessed and she is appealing for help from anyone who can pray for her and receive deliverance.
