Kpando Heart of Lions earned promotion to the Ghana Premier League for the 2023/24 season with six matches remaining.
They are returning to the Ghana premier division following an eight-year stint in the second division following their relegation in the 2015 season.
Heart of Lions' promotion is confirmed with 56 points from 24 games after the third and fourth-place teams in Ghana Division One League Zone Three both lost on matchday 25 prior to Monday's game against Golden Kick.
Vision FC, in second place with 40 points, was defeated 2-0 by Attram De Visser. Vision cannot catch up with Heart of Lions even if they win their remaining matches.
Koforidua Semper Fi, currently in third place with 49 points, was defeated 2-0 at home by Na God FC, rendering it mathematically impossible for them to catch Lions.
On Monday, Heart of Lions, who have been promoted to the Ghana Premier League for next season, will visit Golden Kick.
