Kennedy Agyapong Spotted With Kwesi Nyantakyi For The First Time After Winning Court Case Against Anas
Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi was spotted at the headquarters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Wednesday, June 21, as supporters awaited the arrival of presidential candidate Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
Kwesi Nyantakyi, who has been engaged in a legal battle with investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, was spotted among the dignitaries who accompanied the Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP) to submit his nomination papers.
Mr. Agyapong is now one of the primary contenders in the NPP Presidential Primaries.
He will be the seventh candidate to submit his nomination papers.
On Friday, June 16, the drumming and swaying at the NPP headquarters prior to the arrival of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia could only come close.
Ken Agyapong was occasionally escorted to court for the hearing of the case between Tiger Eye PI and Kwesi Nyantakyi. The former GFA chief's action is viewed as a direct response to Agyapong's behavior.
