The employees of GIHOC Distilleries Limited desire the departure of their managing director, Maxwell Kofi Jumah.
The picketing employees assert that Mr. Jumah is mismanaging the wholly-owned state corporation.
According to them, the company is falling apart under Mr. Jumah.
On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, irate workers clad in red mounted a protest.
In addition, they accuse the former mayor of Kumasi of neglecting to clear their salary and pension contribution arrears.
