Odufu Regina Ohutu, a young girl, perished tragically after allegedly receiving a call from an unknown caller.
It was determined that the deceased was a Benue state university student in the 300-level Mass Communication program.
Sources indicate that Regina passed away shortly after receiving an unidentified WhatsApp video call.
A source indicated that Regina was in good health prior to receiving the WhatsApp video contact. According to him, she began shrieking incessantly until she passed away, oblivious to what was occurring.
As of the time of this report, neither the authorities nor the family of the deceased have issued an official statement.
