The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential and Parliamentary primaries were held in several constituencies accross the country today.
Results that have come in from the various polling centres indicate that some big names in the NDC party have already lost their seat and will not be making it to Parliament in 2025.
These are the following list and will update readers as and when the results trickle in:
Incumbent MPs who have lost:
1. Alex Adomako Mensah – Sekyere Afram Plains
The MP for Sekyere Afram Plains has lost his ticket to one Hajia Nasira Afrah. Nasira Afrah won with 211 votes.
2. Edward Bawa – Bongo Constituency
The Member of Parliament for Bongo, Edward Bawa has lost his ticket to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) into the 2024 General Elections.
Edward Bawa who until becoming an MP was a communication specialist at the Energy Ministry lost his seat in the parliamentary primaries to a new candidate.
3. Wisdom Gidisu – Krachie East
4. A.B.A Fuseini – Sanarigu
5. Dela Sowah – Kpando
6. Kwabena Donkor
7. Peter Kwakye Ackah – Amenfi Central
