The member of Parliament representing residents of Old Kalou Constituency David Kiaraho Nyandarua county is the latest top-ranking individual to fall victim to a gang of notorious city carjackers.
According to police documents, the MP was driving home from a popular City refreshment joint at 2 am when he was ordered by a heavily armed man to down/lower the window of his car at the Junction of James Gichuru road and Waiyaki way.
When he lowered the window, the armed man was joined by two of his other accomplices who forced their way into the car. They then directed the MP to drive to the Muthiga area, Within Kikuyu.
The heavily armed gang later blindfolded the MP, held him at gunpoint, and demanded cash and his ATM. The MP failed to comply forcing the robbers to ransack the car.
They found seven hundred thousand shillings ( KES 700K) under the driver's seat and took off using an escape car leaving the MP unhurt in miotoni,Karen.
