According to reports, the John Mahama campaign team was involved in a serious accident following its sweep of the upper west region for delegates' ballots in the upcoming NDC primaries.
People Involved in the accident were a deputy national communication officer, Malik Basintali, and a team of regional officers and media accompanying H.E. John Mahama on his campaign tour.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that speed bumps during the convoy's acceleration may have caused the accident.
Images depict the former president assisting accident victims after exiting his vehicle.
Three are believed to be seriously injured.
