The General Secretary, Fifi Kwetey, and a few other National Democratic Congress (NDC) officials have been sued by six branch executives in the Ningo-Prampram constituency.

The plaintiffs are Joshua Tetteh, Mathew Ayiku, Sylvester Tetteh, Mathias Narh, and Jonas Tetteh Obinya.

The first respondent, Mr. Kwetey, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Nii Ashie Moore, the Chairman of the Ningo Prampram Constituency, and the Organiser are the defendants.

The plaintiffs are requesting, among other things, that the party swear in several executives who won the most recent elections but had not yet taken office, according to the writ of summons.

Additionally, the plaintiffs are requesting that the court rule their postponed swearing-in as illegal.

"That on February 22, 2023, the Plaintiffs/Applicants filed a writ of summons and statement of claim against the Defendants/Respondents seeking, among other reliefs endorsed on the writ, an order directed at the Regional Chairman to swear the executives of D/A Basic School Mabole Branch."

Additionally, the plaintiffs ask for a court order mandating that the defendants perform branch elections at the Loweh-Kobiaweh (Old Ningo Branch), Dawa-Oteng Kope, Mangotsonya D/A School, Christian Praise Church International Branch, and New Ningo South A Branch.
