Joe Ghartey, MP for Essikado-Ketan, has submitted his nomination papers to contest in the New Patriotic Party's presidential primary.
On Saturday, June 24, he was the last candidate to submit his nomination papers for president.
Officially, the nomination period for the party's presidential primary has concluded.
Ten of the eleven candidates for flagbearer who filed nomination papers were successful.
To complete the necessary paperwork, the congressman was accompanied by some supporters to the NPP offices in Asylum Down.
He pledged to prioritize economic growth, the eradication of corruption, and the improvement of all Ghanaians' living conditions.
